About
Whether you want to lift your mood, improve relationships, overcome issues from your past, change behaviors that hold you back, or help your child to feel better - I look forward to helping you. Therapy can be a catalyst for change: to help you weather a storm, get out of a rut, tackle a challenge ... in short, to create the life you want to be living. I became a therapist, and created Catalyst Counseling Services, because I believe that when you're matched with the right provider - therapy works.
I work with individual adults, children (pre-teen and up), and parents. I specialize in helping clients manage: relationship stress; anxiety; depression; transition to motherhood (including postpartum depression, anxiety, and stress); and healing from traumatic experiences (including physical and sexual assault/abuse), always helping clients find their own strengths.
More about me: before becoming a therapist, I had a career in international development that grew my compassion for others and let me experience our wide world. I love meeting new clients and helping people heal and feel better. Please reach out - I will return your call/email promptly.
