I integrate Dr. Carnes' Task Centered Model for Tx of Sex Addiction, mindfulness-based Hakomi, Internal Family Systems, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, Transpersonal psychotherapies and 12 Step recovery principles to create a wholistic approach to healing.
I focus on empowering women who are involved in codependent, destructive relationships with men or women (partner or family member) who are absent or abusive due to addiction, sexual compulsivity, mental illness, anger or emotional immaturity. Betrayed Partners of Sex Addicts often feel isolated due to shame and misunderstanding of others. This group offers women the opportunity to share their deepest feelings honestly and freely without fear of judgement. Women receive support and encouragement from those who have also suffered and are moving through the healing journey. You will find caring, compassionate fellow travelers with whom you can share the painful reality of your life post-discovery.
