I know first hand the twists and turns life can take you on. I enjoy assisting others on that same journey who are feeling the pressures of everyday life. I connect easily with people of all ages and walk along side their struggles with them allowing them to be who they are. I believe each struggle is an opportunity for growth and a lesson to propel us into the person we are to become. Depression and anxiety rates are higher now than ever before. You are not alone if you are feeling overwhelmed and distraught. The truth is you are enough and I would love the opportunity to walk through the battlefield with you.
I have worked for years in foster care settings, group settings, individual settings, as well as residential settings. Through the relationship building process we are able to work together to increase honesty and transformation. I have learned over the years that there are times of ups and downs and it is always good to share this with someone. We never stop learning and growing, I love to walk with others through their growth process and the empowerment that is on the other side for each individual is an experience I hope to have for many years to come.
In December of 2016, I adopted a new puppy. Simba has grown up in my office and assists clients with anxiety and fear. His presence has increased the ability to feel comfortable and reduce the anxiety and intimidation that goes along with counseling.
