I have a wide range of counseling experience in the mental health & addictions fields working with children, adolescents and adults in individual, family, couple & group settings. I have worked closely with people of various races, backgrounds & ethnicities. I have extensive experience providing solution focused therapy, reality therapy, interpersonal therapy & cognitive-behavioral therapies. I have a background in teaching & understand everyone learns differently. With this said, I do not take one particular approach to therapy and feel feedback is a crucial part of the therapeutic process.
I have a strong background in family systems, relationships & conflict negotiation, depression & anxiety disorders, self-esteem issues, PTSD & other traumas, codependency & attachment issues. I have received in-depth training regarding couples therapy, family dynamics & interventions, behavior modification & emotional manipulation, addictions, PTSD & more.
I graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 2009 with my MSEd in Counselor Education Community Mental Health. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York & a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor & a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor through the NBCC.
