Welcome! I work in helping folks to address complex trauma, problems in relationships, and building self-esteem and authenticity in life. It is completely natural to struggle and experience difficulties. Sometimes these difficulties come from experiencing traumatic events, managing difficult relationships, and even feeling as if we do not know ourselves and what we really want out of life. I specialize in trauma, particularly attachment and relationship traumas that can occur early in childhood or in our adult romantic relationships and even friendships.
I can help address past or present traumas and stresses in your life. I have training and experience in processing trauma and I am trained in EMDR therapy. I take an approach to difficulties such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, substance misuse, and self esteem issues which is compassionate, direct, and often with a little humor.
I believe in each individuals power to better themselves, to seek authenticity in their identity, and to have joy and meaning in life (yes, even when things are really hard!) It takes hard work, support, and honesty to figure these things out. Within a therapeutic relationship I hope to create the support, care, and trust that can facilitate this growth.
