Getting stuck in a cycle of negative thought and feeling keeps us from reaching our potential. It doesn’t have to feel "strange" sitting down and talking to someone about your life, your feelings and your problems. This Must Be The Place (A Life Counseling Experience) is a private therapy practice, built in the spirit of offering a casual, comfortable, non-clinical setting for people to develop a resource in gaining perspective on their lives, moods and relationships.

My recipe for building strong therapeutic alliances includes unconditional positive regard, non-judgment, the tenants of cognitive behavioral therapy, a strong sensibility for what people need & humor. Expect to have conversations that reveal patterns that have contributed to thoughts & beliefs that are no longer serving you & learn how to feel better!
