Many of life's challenges lead people to seek therapy. Therapy allows clients to talk in a secure setting about their concerns, to learn better coping skills, & to find solutions to their problems. I strive to reduce stigma around treatment & assist clients in rebuilding their lives. I think it's vital to meet each client where they are at and focus on their strengths. I work with those suffering from depression or mood disorders, anxiety, parental transitions, trauma, relational, social & self-esteem issues; and also those close to someone suffering from substance use disorder or mental illness. I counsel clients with work or school difficulties, family and lifetime adjustments, codependency, abuse & bereavement.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults through individual counseling. I specialize in treating clients suffering from substance use disorders and/or perinatal mental health concerns (prenatal/pregnancy/postpartum).
