Hi, I'm Laura & I am accepting new clients (1/2025). I help women renew their relationship within themselves and their bodies. We delve into concepts like boundaries, intuition, attachment style, and culture to build a map of self-understanding. This map gives rise to self-confidence, which allows you to navigate the nuances and hardships of life with greater ease and trust. I will help you become your own fiercest advocate so you can finally rest. Our goal is to build connection among all facets of your perfect self with talk, movement and lived experience. I’m a board certified, licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with a certificate in integral somatic trauma therapy. I draw from relational/feminist, existential and client-centered models. Clients and I investigate how trauma affects the physical body giving a voice to chronic pain and illness.
I started my private practice in 2016. I love my job. I do my best work with over-functioning women facing burnout, women who have been told they are “too much”, "too loud", "too angry". I also facilitate healing within families. I prefer in-person sessions here in Mukilteo. Virtual sessions are also an option. Conveniently book online via my website.
