I am a Board-certified psychiatrist, and I really enjoy the "therapy" portion of my profession, and continue to believe that the combined use of psychotherapy and medication (if indicated) by one caregiver is the most successful way to help people feel better and do more of what they want. My approach is eclectic but primarily involves supportive psychotherapy. Currently, I am working virtually via Facetime, Zoom or phone, but I am thinking of including in-person meetings, if you or others tell me that it is preferred. I really believe it works better.
Helping people to navigate Life's many challenges, toward a more meaningful and happier life, is my goal. In an Age where "faster is better" and electronic communication dominates, many feel isolated, depressed, anxious and more. I believe therapy can be an important step in overcoming those issues.
Whatever is causing you to feel less happy or productive can be helped by talking to a professional human being who cares. That's me. Please consider a phone consultation to see if you feel like working with me might be of benefit to you.
