I am a licensed psychologist specializing in couples therapy. I can help with communication, conflict, decision-making, trust, intimacy, parenting issues, developmental transitions, sex, stepfamily issues, and healing after an affair. I have many years of training and experience with couples and am registered as a "marriage friendly" therapist (see my website for more information). I also work with individuals on identity and self-worth, stress and anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and career decisions among other things.
I use a developmental model of couple relationships, in which each partner works on clearly communicating needs and on listening better to their partner. I help couples know and accept each other more fully. My individual therapy work incorporates CBT, mindfulness, and discovery of the underlying beliefs that shape behavior.
I offer a sliding fee scale based on income. Telephone inquiries are welcome.
