I have received trainings in EMDR therapy, expressive arts therapies, dance movement therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I believe that mental health symptoms do not represent illness or disorder, but rather attempts to cope with pain. These modalities help clients find a voice and mend the connection to self and others that trauma so often disrupts.
