Hi, I'm Laura, a Philadelphia-based psychotherapist. I work with adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, and the lasting effects of difficult or traumatic experiences. You may struggle to say no, second-guess your needs, or feel responsible for others’ emotions. You might be untangling the impact of emotionally immature parents, beginning parenthood, navigating neurodivergence, or carrying complex trauma. My approach blends compassion, psychoeducation, and humor, grounded in a trauma-informed perspective. I draw from psychodynamic and family systems models to help clients better understand themselves and their relationships. I frequently work with neurodivergent folks and those who are highly self-critical, sensitive, or conflict-avoidant.
