I am a licensed professional counselor with 10 years of experience working with a wide variety of clients and concerns, primarily in an acute care hospital setting. I'm not intimidated by mood swings, intrusive thoughts, anger, or substance use. You won't be "too much" for me.
I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing approaches, helping you understand how your thoughts and feelings are impacting your life and finding opportunities that you actually want to pursue. Along the way I'll teach you how to use these skills on your own.
