Whatever brings you to therapy, talking to a well-trained, warm and sensitive therapist is likely to bring relief. Within the context of an empathic relationship, a person may begin to really attend to parts of themselves that have been long neglected. This can be tremendously freeing, and release long-held shame and anxiety.
I have specific experience and interest in working with trauma, infertility, and relational patterns.
I offer adult and adolescent individual therapy, with a focus on relationships. I also lead a Women's PTSD/Trauma Group, where members receive support from each other, learn about their interpersonal patterns, and the impact of past trauma on their lives.
My approach is primarily psychodynamic, but I am also trained in EMDR, which can be useful to re-process stuck points originating from past experiences. I also integrate aspects of cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness, depending on a person's needs. I look forward to hearing from you to see if we could be a good fit.

This group is the right fit for a woman who is looking for a safe space and support around everyday stress and problems, while maintaining a curiosity about the deeper issues and underlying pain.
