I love working with a wide range of people from young adults to seniors, and work with individuals, couples and families. I am LGBTQIA friendly and love working with diverse populations. I have had various jobs in helping professions for almost twenty years, and since 2012 have counseled adults, families and couples. I love seeing people have renewed hope and vitality in their lives.
My training is rooted in family systems therapy. My approach incorporates learning mindfulness and self compassion to ease suffering and increase happiness. Mindfulness involves noticing the present moment without judgment. I am trauma informed and have a specialization in working with addiction.
I incorporate intuitive approaches as well as evidence based approaches. I like to work collaboratively with clients to ease suffering. I tend to be highly empathetic and intuitive as well as pragmatic. I want to share tools as well as offer an open heart.
