For over 35 years,I have been helping adolescents ,adults and families. I realize that knowing you need help is not the same as knowing what kind of help you need.My role is to facilitate that process with you; to provide the guidance, support and collaboration that will help us to identify how you can most effectively reach your personal goals and improve your quality of life.As we move through that process, you can rely on me to be honest, forthright and compassionate; to work with you, side by side, as you face the challenges ahead.
My experience is broad and comprehensive. I like to say "there hasn't been an issue I haven't tackled".My areas of clinical specialty include but are not limited to, depression, anxiety,OCD and addiction. I am skilled in working with adolescents and families.I use a variety of approaches, and find cognitive behavioral therapy to be extremely effective.
I utilize a team approach and collaborate regularly with schools ,physicians and community service agencies to achieve optimal outcomes.I am an advocate of the family systems approach, especially when working with adolescents. I offer flexible scheduling. I also offer Telehealth for the busy professional.
