About
I work with individuals, adolescents, couples and families who desire to live a better life and have connection in their relationships. Did you know that "pain is inevitable, suffering is optional" (. I didn't. Everyone experiences suffering. Learning how NOT to suffer is life changing. We'll explore the beliefs and meanings that were created during your socialization. You'll learn simple tools and gain awareness about how the process of suffering happens for you and how to NOT suffer. It requires willingness, vulnerability and a commitment to not give up. You also have the option to experience EMDR, a powerful modality when stuck.
It takes courage and strength to reach out for guidance. Everyone has a schema which shapes their world. Beliefs create your inner dialogue, which create feelings and influence behaviors. Together, we explore where the problem really lies; it isn't YOU. You'll learn HOW to navigate your internal world with awareness & compassion; change happens inside out.
My focus is on helping clients gain awareness of their schema and how it is causing them to suffering. This is done through the lens of compassion. Real compassion doesn't coddle, nor does it shame. It sees people as whole and completely adequate to their life. I offer a 20-minute complimentary phone consultation.
