I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental, and strengths-focused approach to my work. I completed both my Bachelor's degree (BA) in Psychology and my Master's degree in Education at Winthrop University, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Supervision and Education. Additionally, I am trained in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), which I incorporate into my work to help clients develop skills for managing emotions and building healthier relationships.
Having lived in two countries, I bring a unique perspective to my work, and I pride myself on meeting clients where they are, with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach. My 10+ years of experience in a community mental health center have further strengthened my ability to respond quickly and with enthusiasm to the needs of those I work with.
