Starting with a new therapist takes a lot of courage. Courage to admit to ourselves that what we’ve tried before hasn’t helped, and we might benefit from another perspective and someone’s knowledge who has training and experience. I can tell you all about the alphabet soup (credentials) behind my name, but what I know to be most important is the relationship you build with your therapist.
I've been told I’m easy to sit with and talk to. I believe that while therapy can be hard work, it can also be a time of funny reflection. Having a positive therapeutic relationship is a big part of what heals us, and it is my desire that we can sit together and laugh, experience tears, and talk openly about your greatest concerns and pains.

Groups
Creative Arts Invisible Illnesses Support Group
This support group is a valuable tool for individuals who live with invisible illnesses (such as cancer, fibromyalgia, migraines, chronic pain, arthritis, endometriosis, etc). We start each week with a creative prompt, give time to make an expressive representative of that prompt and then share as able/willing with peers. This is a closed group, you must meet with the facilitator ahead of time to ensure you would be a good fit based on pre-existing criteria. The group runs for 6 weeks and the cost is $100 for all six weeks. Next group runs March 1-April 19 from 12pm-1:30pm.
