I offer HIPPA compliant telehealth sessions throughout the states of Missouri and Illinois. A favorite quote of mine is from George Eliot: "What do we live for, if not to make life less difficult for each other?" Sometimes we all need a little help. I know it's not easy to ask for help. When you're ready, I'm here to help you navigate through the challenges in your life and build upon your strengths. Issues we can address in counseling include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, codependency, chronic physical illness, chronic mental illness, anger management, life transitions, and stress management.
The approach I use varies with each client and their needs, but I often I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused counseling in sessions. My approach is holistic, as I believe integrating the physical, social, spiritual, intellectual, and emotional aspects of our lives is important to overall wellness.
Our first session will give me an opportunity to learn about you and your background, and to discover what your hopes are for our counseling sessions. What brings you to counseling? What do you hope will be different after we spend some time together? My hope as your therapist is to help you meet those goals you have for yourself, to live your best life!
