I have been a licensed Psychologist for more than 25 years. Psychodynamic and Relational Theories form the basis of my training. More recently I have integrated Somatic Experience and Mindfulness based work into my therapy practice. Psychotherapy is a new relationship with the potential to help people change. Early work in acute care settings solidified my expertise in the evaluation and treatment of trauma, addictions, violence and major mental illness. In private practice I have pursued several areas of interest including: past or current trauma, depression, relationship issues, the psychology of women, aging, creativity, and parenting LGBTQA youth.
