Welcome to your healing journey! My name is LaTronya Hollingsworth, and it starts here with you taking this first step towards creating a healthy space for yourself to address and confront areas of your life that you want to change or increase growth. If you are seeking a safe space to tackle life problems, then I am the right therapist for you. I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 12 plus years’ experience helping clients cope with mental health issues and life stressors, depression, anxiety, grief, couples counseling, and interpersonal relationships. We can work together toward your healing journey.
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of therapy I use to help clients find better ways to cope and manage your stress through problem-solving. Dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT) is a form of psychosocial therapy I also use to help you learn how to feel OK around uncomfortable thoughts and situations.
During the first session, I will introduce myself and ask my clients about any issues or concerns they may have. We will discuss the client's expected outcome of receiving therapy. We will discuss what is working in the client's life and what the client would like to improve or address.
