Welcome! My name is Dr. La Toshia Palmer, and I provide a supportive, culturally responsive space for students and young adults—particularly those from historically marginalized communities who are navigating anxiety, depression, anger, and life stressors. My approach is grounded in psychoeducation, helping clients better understand their emotions, build practical coping skills, and develop confidence in managing everyday challenges.
I work with individuals who are ready to grow, heal, and strengthen their sense of identity and resilience. Together, we focus on creating clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful progress toward personal, academic, and long-term goals.
My approach is both structured and empowering. I work collaboratively with clients to develop clear goals, build effective coping strategies, and track progress over time. Clients often leave sessions with tools they can immediately apply, along with a deeper sense of self-awareness, confidence, and control.
