My name is LaTonya Thomas license number C5972and I am a licensed clinical social worker; I have worked in mental health for over fourteen years. I use cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing while working with clients. I have used CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and so many more. I have worked with clients with anxiety, depression, mood disorder, stress, grief, anger and so many more. I have worked in telehealth for the last four years. I often try to build rapport with my clients at the very first session.
I knew I wanted to be a therapist when I was about 10 years old because I love helping others as a young child. I went to school and obtained a master's in social worker and became license. I love seeing other people happy is what drives me to working with others.
