Hello, I’m LaSonya! My name is LaSonya Kelly and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work – Certified in the state of Maryland. I work with individuals and families and specialize in depression, anxiety, life transitions, loss and grief and bipolar disorder using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy to help my clients to be successful in their therapeutic goals and to start feeling better. My approach is unique to the needs of the presenting individual and/or family. I use an eclectic approach understanding there isn’t any one cookie cutter approach.
I work extremely well with adults and families as they make efforts to navigate life transitions, depression, marital concerns and social stressors. I help my clients navigate these challenges as a change agent in helping them understand themselves better, develop positive perspectives towards change in general and to work from a strength perspective.
