Hello, my name is LaShunda. I am an independently licensed counselor. I have been in the helping field for over 20 years and a therapist for almost 10 of those years. I currently have started my own practice with a specialty of helping the "Wounded Healer", meaning that the ones of us, who are always there for others, but we do not take the time to heal for ourselves. I am called to help you.
In ourr first session. I would love for you to share with me what has led you to seek therapy. I would love to hear what or how you desire to be in the next few weeks and what goals you have would like to accomplish. Then we work together to set this in action.
My greatest strength is that I am a empathetic listener and I have a genuine spirit. These two attributes afford me the opportunity to have great therapeutic skills and giftedness to show up for my clients and assist them with a skills that will assist them in new beginnings.
