Depression, anxiety, work and social stress, parenting and relationship issues are the main reasons people come to see me. I have been very successful in helping clients rediscover their inner strengths and regain stability in their lives. Some of our conflicts are circumstantial, and we only need direction or guidance to get back on track. Other issues are long standing and run much deeper, and as most people recognize, require special knowledge and understanding to work them through. I believe that we are all struggling to adapt and get along. We all want to be happy with our selves and our lives.
I am a Psychotherapist with many years' experience working with adolescents, and adults. I use short-term approaches with adolescents, adults, couples and families in crisis or who are dealing with many of life stresses, anxiety and depression. I use psychodynamic treatment for long standing issues that run much deeper from childhood and adult trauma.
I have a special interest in working with couples on relationship issues and on parenting skills. I believe everyone should have access to good quality mental health care, and make flexible arrangements regarding scheduling and fees.
