Therapy is about feeling better. It's a learning process. It requires a comfortable atmosphere, conducive to talking and expressing inner feelings. I try to create this environment by offering respect, sensitivity and compassion. I bring enthusiasm, and hope to the therapeutic process, as well as insight and creativity. This, in turn, helps one to develop an understanding of one's self and one's circumstances, and thus, the process of change begins, where one can acquire an ability to tackle whatever the challenge may be.
I have been a therapist for over 20 years. My primary orientations are Family Systems Therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral, and Dialectical Behavioral therapies. I have advanced training in all these areas, and in Illness Management and Recovery. I have worked in both in-patient and out patient mental health settings.
My practice is easily accessible, and discreet. It. I serve a culturally diverse population. I accept most insurances and I am willing to make arrangements for those without coverage.

Social and Emotional Skills Group for Teens
Social and Emotional Skills Group for adolescents trying to succeed in a social environment. Helpful for kids who are struggling with mild asperges/spectrum disorder, social awkwardness, low self esteem. Great for building self confidence and improving ones social networking cababilities. During the Pandemic, we are currently conducting the group via Telehealth/video chat.
