I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in mental health and recovery support for children and adults. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, life transitions, behavior modification, academic challenges, addiction recovery management, and grief & loss support. My professional interests include working with children and adults with a focus on mental health recovery, therapeutic coaching, and those seeking therapeutic guidance and life transitions.
My approach to therapy is built on an eclectic orientation of various therapeutic focuses such as psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, existential therapy, and a strength-based approach.
My interest in this professional journey and type of work comes from a variety of past experiences, family values, and my cultural upbringing. I have a master’s degree in social work from California State University Long Beach. Additionally, having lived in Ecuador I am also fluent in Spanish and approach all therapeutic work with cultural humidity lens.
