Larissa enjoys working with clients who are ready and committed to change. Larissa works well with those who struggle with a variety of mental illnesses, such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship/family stressors, addiction, and trauma. Larissa enjoys working with clients who are ready to get out of their comfort zones, who are willing to have an open mind, incorporate new techniques, and be challenged.
Larissa specializes in addiction treatment. She utilizes a harm reduction approach, motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention, and continuously reviews stages of change with clients. Larissa can assist clients in improving their quality of life if the client is willing, motivated, and able.
My goal is to assist clients in returning to the basics. Today, we live in a world filled with distractions, where we tend to lose ourselves to the point where we can become unrecognizable. My goal is to assist others to take a look within, to assist clients in challenging themselves, and at the same time, to utilize self-compassion.
