Hello, I am Larcenia McDaniel, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My passion and specialties are working with children/adolescents with trauma experiences, parent/child relationships, and parenting difficulties. My approach to providing therapy is to assist families and children build strong relationships that promote healthy attachment and a sense of belonging. Also, I utilize trauma-informed care to provide space for healing and healthy coping with traumatic experiences.
My journey to becoming a therapist was something I did not see happening. My calling to be a helpful healer was gifted to me and has become my sense of purpose and passion. I enjoy seeing families and clients notice their own progress in treatment. I am grateful they allow me to be a part of their healing journeys.
I aim to create a safe and judgment-free environment for my clients. My communication style includes jokes and humor to promote a positive and interactive experience. I am very informal when meeting for the first session. It's all about the client and getting to know them and the reasons for seeking services.
