My specializations include: depression; anxiety; traumatic stress; interpersonal/family conflict; poor impulse control; substance abuse; grief/loss; and self-esteem. I am deeply honored when people choose to share their stories with me and I am committed to providing a nonjudgmental and compassionate environment. My approach is collaborative and individualized.
In addition to using traditional forms psychotherapy, I have specialized training in using therapeutic yoga and mindfulness skills for mood regulation and stress reduction. These skills are accessible no matter your physical ability and can be used as an adjunct to talk therapy or woven into our therapy sessions.
