I am a clinical psychologist specializing in attachment and trauma. After working for over 30 years with individuals across all stages of the life span, I have come to believe that we are all wired for health in our relationships with self and others. I employ a collaborative therapeutic style marked by warmth, empathy and respect. My therapeutic approach draws heavily from attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, emotion focused therapy, somatic work and mindfulness. I now offer the Safe and Sound and the Rest and Restore Protocol. These powerful interventions can faciliate deep trauma healing and restore ease.
The SSP, designed to promote safety and social enagement can help clients regulate their nervous systems, reducing anxiety and enhancing their connection with others, while the RRP focuses on restoring nervous system balance and ease. Both promote systemic healing in mood, trauma recovery and physical health and can be woven beautifuly into psychotherapy.
I am heartened by the healing I’ve witnessed in clients over the years. In particular, I’ve been deeply impressed by the transformation I see in those who engage with the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP). Please reach out if you would like to learn more or are feeling stuck. I have seen so many improvements.
