I am a clinical psychologist specializing in attachment and trauma. After working for over 30 years with individuals across all stages of the life span, I have come to believe that we are all wired for health in our relationships with self and others. I employ a collaborative therapeutic style marked by warmth, empathy and respect. My therapeutic approach draws heavily from attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, emotion focused therapy, somatic work and mindfulness. I now offer the Safe and Sound and the Rest and Restore Protocol. These powerful interventions can faciliate deep trauma healing and restore ease.
Understanding how early relationships and life experiences can impact relational patterns in both adaptive and maladaptive ways enables me to help patients make sense of their histories and restore a sense of well being with self and others. Our work can be enhanced deeply when integrated with the SSP and RRP.
