Welcome, couples and families! I'm so glad you're considering working with me! My philosophy in working with clients is that our relational struggles stem from maladaptive patterns that develop from how we've been hurt in the past. To help you heal and shift these patterns, I guide you as you develop psychological flexibility and lead from a position of wisdom and compassion. I am attachment-orientated, so with couples, I use Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and with families, I use Attachment-based Family Therapy. During our sessions, I try to cultivate healing experiences, which I hope you can build on outside sessions.
My bi-cultural (Filipino and Western) background enhances my understanding of how to navigate differences between people. I work in a collaborative style, recognizing that you know yourself and your struggles best. My job is to draw out that deep knowing so it can work for you!
