I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Alabama and National Certified Counselor. I believe that all things are possible and in order for recovery to occur, we must be willing to be honest with ourselves about our struggles. I recognize that overwhelming feelings of guilt, fear, and shame can take over our lives and make it hard to express to others. My therapeutic approach is multi-faceted and based on the needs and challenges that each individual faces. I primarily practice Cognitive Behavioral, Psycho-Education, Person-Centered, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, and Reality-Based Therapy.
I am passionate about what I do and enjoy working with clients who are open to exploring ways to cope with negative emotions of anxiety, anger, sadness, and depression. I also work with those who struggle with Substance Use Disorders, stress, self-esteem, women's issues, life transitions, men's issues, anger management, and self-harm.
