I offer trauma-informed psychotherapy and Art Therapy with a foundation in Social Justice Counseling to support you in reconnecting with yourself, coping with current life stressors, and healing and integrating traumas and challenges that have left you feeling disconnected, stuck, and lost. Through genuine warmth, compassion, and ease, I am skilled at offering a stable ground that supports you in building upon the strengths you already possess and developing skills to move past your barriers.
My specialties include addiction, LGBTQAI+ identities, sexual abuse, anxiety, domestic violence, attachment and relationship struggles. I am passionate about honoring your unique set of identities and how they have shaped your experience of the world, the world’s experience of you, and your relationship with yourself.
I offer an approach that combines Art Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (somatic trauma processing), and mindfulness, which are often more effective than words alone in supporting deep and lasting change. These tools are a powerful way to support you in reclaiming your capacity to experience joy as you undertake the courageous act of beginning therapy.
