I practice evidenced-based treatments and am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency (ARC), and Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) therapies.
Relationship and collaboration are two essential components of counseling. It is important for each person to feel safe and valued in order to move forward in therapy. Although counseling often deals with difficult topics, I believe therapy with children should be engaging and fun, using play therapy in sessions.
