About
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have more than 20 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and groups. I am frequently told by my clients that I am very empathic, intuitive, and insightful, empowering them to find their own answers and to take positive action for themselves. My experience includes working with culturally and sexually diverse clients with issues such as depression, anxiety, life changes, and relationship and sexual issues. Ultimately, I enjoy helping people find practical solutions to the challenges they want to resolve, both for themselves and their relationships.
My approach to therapy is strengths-based, solution-focused, emotionally supportive and educational. I also have experience in systems modalities which is particularly helpful when working with couples. To maximize the benefits of therapy, I prefer to tailor my treatment to each client rather than utilize a “one size fits all” method.
