Now in network with UHC! Men, therapy is good for us. I am a therapist, cancer survivor, child abuse survivor, feminist, activist, a great-grandson of immigrants from Mexico, a husband in a queer relationship, a doggo dad, and a comedy performer. I help people with anxiety, imposter syndrome, relationships, ADHD, depression, family stuff, career issues, and big life changes because those are the same things I've struggled with. I'm here to listen and help. Not to judge. Let's get you empowered, laughing, and having fun again. I love working with LGBTQ+ clients and people of color.
I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, Gottman couples counseling, mindfulness, and the therapeutic benefits of humor. I'm Mexican-American, grew up in the Dallas area, and I'm a graduate of the Second City comedy theater in Chicago. My wife Chloe and I have been together for 21 years and we have 3 rescue chihuahuas!
If you love vinyl, Severance, or basic human rights, we should be a great fit! Shoot me a quick email and we'll get started. My schedule stays busy so I may not have time for intro calls and free intro sessions, but I promise that if I'm not a good fit for you and your needs, I'll help you find a therapist who is.
