In all of our lives there are times when we struggle and could use support. As a licensed professional clinical counselor and licensed alcohol and drug counselor, I specialize in working with those who suffer from chemical and mental health issues. The past 18 years my professional career has been dedicated to improving the lives of teens, young adults and their families. I am also passionate about working with those who are simply trying to live a more fulfilled life.
I find that the best way to be of service and support is to utilize a person-centered approach to therapy. I feel that it is vital for health and wellness to understand ourselves, where we come from and to find the skills and coping strategies from within to best heal.
I believe that therapy is a safe, non-judgmental place where we can explore that which gives our lives meaning and heal. I draw from existential approaches and find that when our lives have purpose and meaning we are best equipped to manage through the tough times that may come along.
