Hi there! I’m Lana Hurst (she/her), a transgender woman and queer affirming therapist specializing in gender identity, relationships, and life transitions. Whether you’re exploring identity, questioning long-held beliefs, or coping with religious trauma, I offer a reflective space to slow down, take a breath, get curious, and reconnect with yourself. Life can feel unsteady when the ways you’ve understood yourself—your gender, faith, or relationships—no longer fit. Together, we’ll explore what feels disorienting, what’s calling for your attention, and what new possibilities might be waiting to take shape—at your own pace.

I draw from depth-oriented psychodynamic and somatic approaches including Internal Family Systems and EMDR to help clients process life’s more complex experiences. I don’t see therapy as a way to “fix” you but as a place to make sense of your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and move through change in a way that feels meaningful and resonates with you.

As a trans woman who grew up in politically and religiously conservative environments—I know how overwhelming it can feel when the life you’ve known no longer fits.
