As a Black woman therapist, I bring cultural awareness, lived understanding, and advocacy into the therapy space. Many of my clients are women who carry a lot—emotionally, relationally, and socially. They often wear many hats, feel unseen or misunderstood, and are navigating stressors that others may minimize. I am intentional about creating a space where clients feel seen, validated, and not alone. I value culturally responsive and contemporary psychological frameworks and don't rely on outdated or performative models of care. My work prioritizes relevance, emotional safety, and real-life application.

My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I help clients slow down, sit with their emotions, and begin to name patterns that may no longer be serving them. I believe meaningful change often starts with awareness, emotional regulation, and honest reflection. I also remind clients that while therapy is important, the real work is outside the sessions.

Clients often describe me as compassionate, honest, and supportive, while also holding them accountable to their goals. I hold space without enabling, and I challenge with care. My hope is that clients leave therapy feeling more connected to themselves, clearer about their needs, and empowered to move forward with intention.
