I have worked with individuals and families for over 8 years in a variety of settings including children and family services, family therapy, pediatric therapy, and adult therapy. I use a combination of approaches including but not limited to narrative approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered, strengths based, and trauma focused care.
My goal in therapy is to provide a space that feels open, enlightening, and comfortably-uncomfortable. What does that mean? I want you to feel comfortable with me as a therapist but I will challenge you in ways that may feel temporarily uncomfortable. I will sit with you in those times as you find perspective and grow. Remember, this feeling is temporary.
