About
Welcome! With much gratitude, I thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Maritza Solis and I am a Bilingual/Bicultural Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. I see and treat children, ages 8 and up, adolescents, and adults. I also provide therapy in both English and Spanish. I enjoy working with parents and their child or adolescent in addressing their parent/child relationship problems. I also enjoy working with individuals who are looking to work and address their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs in therapy.
With parent/child therapy, I work with parents and their child/adolescent to investigate what is causing the distress or disruption in their lives. From there, we can make positive and long-lasting changes to their daily life routines and parenting techniques. I also work with child individually to teach them how to regulate and manage their emotions.
I also provide a holistic approach to therapy. In therapy, we will discuss your emotional, physical, and spiritual health. From there, I focus on teaching clients coping skills, deep breathing, yoga techniques, relaxation techniques, and, if applicable, make recommendations for natural vitamins and supplements to assist client in their healing journey.
