After getting an Associate Degree in Photography from CCSF, I realized that I was passionate about Human Behavior and the difference it makes for someone to feel like they matter. Following that, I achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Cal State East Bay. I have a Master of Arts in Counseling from Palo Alto University, CA. I provide Psychotherapy Sessions in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. The techniques that I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Behavior Therapy, and Play Therapy.
In our first session together, I will gather background information from you to design a treatement plan that will meet your needs. Your first session with me will be different from future visits. The initial visit is a period for you and I to get to know each other and get an idea of how to proceed.
In your initial session you will have a chance to clarify what services you are seeking, stressors, and goals. My greatest strenghts are being non judgemental, empathic, flexible, open minded, active listener, and having unconditional Positive regard. The issues that I treat are anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and personal growth.
