My name is Star Soko. I am an LPC with over 10 years of experience in mental health counseling. I work with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, family/relational conflict, and trauma. I utilized a Person-Centered approach that encompasses a holistic, team-oriented, and integrative modality of treatment that best fits the needs of my clients. I work with teens and adults, male and female dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and couple relational issues. My objective is to create a warm, inviting, and safe environment to build trust with respect to the therapeutic relationship.
My approach to goal setting with clients is a collaboration in what the client desires and the identified needs of the clients. The first session includes an introduction, data collection, identified problems, therapeutic goal setting, and expectations for treatment.
