Dealing with anxious thoughts and a sense of overwhelm? Having a hard time motivating in the direction of your goals? I want to help you connect with your own inner strength and discover what might be getting in the way of living your best life. I believe that mental health is intimately tied to relationships and that therapy can provide a safe setting to practice new, healthy ways to connect with others and oneself. I work collaboratively with teens and adults ages 13 and up on issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and divorce.
I use creative methods to explore emotions and thought patterns that present in your life. Though verbal inquiry and art-making, we will use non-judgmental curiosity to better understand your story and your needs. My work is trauma-informed, mindfulness based, and highly relational. I follow your lead, while offering pause, perspective and support.
I see therapy as a very personal and, at times, even spiritual process of connecting more deeply with your self... with your innate wisdom, grace and love. I believe that deep change is possible and that seeing a therapist is a move toward a more intentional, joyful life. I would be honored to assist you on this journey.
