Lacy Huffman is a licensed professional counselor who works with children starting at age 3 up to adults. Lacy earned her masters at the University of Central Oklahoma in School Counseling. She has worked as a school counselor and pre-K teacher. During her time in the school system, she saw a need to meet students where they are and recognizes the very real worries young students have within schools. Lacy enjoyed helping students, teachers, and parents succeed by working as a team to achieve the best outcome for the child.
She has experience with trauma based practices and is a TBRI practitioner. Lacy utilizes Child Centered play therapy and solution focused therapy. Lacy works with children ages 4-12 with availability for teens and adults. She views play as how children communicate and she has a passion for interpreting play in a meaningful way and helping the client heal.
