If you or your child are struggling with intrusive thoughts, anxiety, fear, low mood, or repetitive actions or behaviors that are distressing or disrupting, I would be honored to work with you on learning effective, evidence-based skills to combat fear and negative thoughts. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Florida in Clinical Psychology, with a focus on child/pediatrics, but work with patients of all ages. My specialty is in anxiety, OCD, and phobias, but I also work with a variety of other mental health issues, including body-focused repetitive behaviors, such as tics, hair pulling, and skin picking behaviors.

I have extensive training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Exposure Response Prevention (CBT/E/RP), Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBiT), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT) for body-focused repetitive behaviors. These are the evidence-based therapies for OCD, anxiety disorders, and tic spectrum disorders.

Most of my patients struggle with OCD, intrusive thoughts, and anxiety. I utilize CBT/ERP and other evidence-based practices to bring awareness to factors influencing anxiety, gradually reduce avoidance behaviors, and increase actionable skills to fight fear and increase quality of life. CBT/ERP is a highly studied and efficacious treatment that typically results in improvement in 12-15 sessions.
