Hello! Thank you so much for reviewing my page. I currently work with young adults and adults with a specialty in trauma. I always say that it is my job to get "fired," as I feel that the goal of counseling is to get out of counseling once goals are met and when my client feels comfortable and confident in knowing themselves and their abilities. Growth is the best measure of progress, no matter how big or small. I often work with complex trauma, which can come in a wide range of diagnoses including, but not limited to, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
I feel that it is important for a client to get what they need out of counseling, whether that is to learn coping strategies or address the root of the presenting concern. I meet each client with empathy, honesty, and positive regard with a wide range of collaborative approaches including EMDR therapy and CBT to best help you in your journey for change.
Whatever your goal is, it is my goal to help you reach it. I would love to hear your story, if you choose to share it. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule an appointment in person or virtually. I look forward to meeting with you!
